CHARACTER INFO
Name: Sissel
Age: About 10 in human years, don't know how many in cat years. However, he still looks like an itty bitty kitten.
Species: Cat!

Series: Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective
OU/AU: OU
Canon Point: Epilogue (In the below-linked history, that means he has already learned the truth about himself, solved all the mysteries, and helped everyone earn their happy ending.)
History: Here we go!
... That's the basics of Sissel's story, but Wikipedia left a few things out. For one, the party that saved the day wasn't able to stop the Temsik meteorite from splintering into shards. The shard, however, didn't hit Yomiel this time - it hit the little kitten instead. In other words, Sissel is now immortal in much the same way Yomiel was. Yomiel, on the other hand, ended up in jail for ten years in the new timeline, with his fiancee alive and waiting for him the whole time - a much better fate than what he'd previously endured. This time around, Sissel was taken in by Detective Jowd's family, and he's okay with being the eternal kitten.
Personality: Sissel, as befits a cat who has gone through what he went through, is very calm and laid-back. He's okay with his situation, he's okay with how life turned out, he's generally...okay with everything, really. He likes watching the world go by, he likes watching humanity, so he's really okay with being immortal. However, there is more to him than that! He tends to be snarky and sarcastic sometimes, as well as very blunt - seeing as you can't actually hide your thoughts in the Ghost World, he's sort of given up trying to. As he doesn't quite get the human world, he also can come off as a bit of a dummy...though he can't really help it, as he is a cat!

Sissel tends to think before he acts, and doesn't get wigged out easily unless something's gone horribly wrong (sent to read a schedule and learning you can't read, finding out that you're not actually the guy in the red jacket, etc.) He also tends not to be the type to give up until he resolves a situation, even after these things happen...though he's definitely not as outspoken about it as his ally Missile is.

Powers: -Sissel is able to possess objects and manipulate them, as well as jumping from object to object in order to get around. An example of this manipulation: if he jumps into an umbrella, he can open it.
-He can talk to other people who have died via the Ghost World, a sort of place where time stops and that only the dead can access.
-He can possess a phone to travel long distances - if someone makes a phone call, he can jump over to the receiving end. Once he knows a destination, he can jump around there and back without requiring someone to make a phone call, though it DOES make things easier.
-Sissel can travel back in time four minutes before a person's death so that he can save them from their grisly fate.
-As of the endgame, Sissel is immortal in the exact same way Yomiel is (if he is injured, his body will "go back" to the way it was before the injury in a little while, and he also can't age.) He's okay with it.
-On the more mundane side of things, as a cat, Sissel is very agile and has an excellent sense of balance.
Weaknesses: As with Yomiel, if Sissel loses his Temsik shard, he'll no longer be immortal. Also, he can't read and doesn't really understand the human world that well - in fact, most of what humans might consider basic, universal knowledge is a mystery to him. As he is a kitten, he is also very small. Like, Edward Elric is a goddamn giant next to him okay.
Also, nobody will actually be able to understand him unless they've died before or unless they're able to communicate with cats.
Possessions: Temsik Shard - A shard of a meteorite, it gives Sissel his immortality and powers. If someone dies near Temsik radiation, they also get ghost powers. It is currently located somewhere inside his body.
Red Kerchief - Tied around his neck. It's a fashion accessory, man.
Marking Location: Chest.
Miscellaneous: He is not a lolcat. Deal with it. Also, please don't throw things at him when he decides to do cat things like singing (read: YOWL~~) at the moon.

First Person: ...Huh, this isn't Jowd's place...scratch that, it's not anywhere that I've ever seen before. This place is a mess, too; it's worse than anything I've ever seen, even that junkyard. At least there's a lot of things I could mess around with - if necessary, that is.

Speaking of Jowd, I hope he and the others are all right. Lynne especially - that girl's got to stop getting killed... Well, she hasn't gotten killed in this timeline, so maybe that's not going to happen anymore. I'd like to think that's the case, anyway.
Third Person:

Sissel jumped onto the small piece of rubble, then a bit higher, over and over, so that he could get a better view of everything. He couldn't say he liked what he saw, though - this looked vaguely like a human city, only it was...all wrong. It was a mess. He was pretty sure the rubble he was on might have been a building at some point, but now it was almost completely unrecognizable. Even though he didn't need to, the thoughts made him shiver physically, his fur fluffing up and his ears reclining. This was wrong on so many levels that even a cat could tell...

He was pretty sure he didn't want to know how this had happened. He was pretty sure there was no explanation - and a quick flip into the Ghost World told him that there wasn't anybody he could ask, for that matter. There were no cores, no...nothing.

Perhaps that was the worst part of all. There was nothing alive and there was nothing in the Ghost World either. Oh, there were objects he could jump into, yes, he could get around easily enough, but there were no ghosts - at least, not where he'd turned up. Maybe there were people, just not around here...With that in mind, he jumped down and--

There's someone there?

It certainly seemed that way, anyway. Around the corner...It looked like he'd been right. So, he decided to walk that way, in his most nonthreatening manner, and let out a quiet, curious:

"Meow?"
